Sell safely.
Buy confidently.
REVEND manages the transaction between buyer and seller — including payment, delivery status and the Sold as Advertised protection process.
One transaction. One managed process.
REVEND is designed to remove the uncertainty that often comes with buying and selling pre-owned goods directly between strangers.
The buyer should not have to hand money directly to an unknown seller and hope the product arrives. The seller should not have to hand over a product without a legitimate transaction in place.
REVEND sits between the two sides and manages the transaction process.
The REVEND transaction
Seller lists the item
The seller creates an accurate listing with photographs, condition, price, description, defects, parcel information and other relevant details.
Buyer chooses the item
The buyer reviews the listing and decides whether to purchase. The seller sets the product price and REVEND shows the applicable transaction and delivery costs.
Buyer checks out
The buyer enters the delivery information required for the transaction and REVEND calculates an available managed delivery option.
Payment is secured
The buyer pays through the REVEND checkout process. The transaction is recorded and the seller is not simply paid before the transaction has been completed.
Seller prepares the parcel
The seller prepares and packages the exact item that was advertised and provides it for collection according to the delivery instructions.
Courier collects and delivers
REVEND coordinates the supported courier process and tracks the delivery status through the transaction.
Buyer receives the item
The buyer receives the product and the transaction moves toward completion. If the item is materially not as advertised, the buyer can use the REVEND dispute process.
Transaction completes
If there is no valid dispute, the transaction is completed and the seller payout can proceed according to the REVEND transaction process.
For buyers
The buyer chooses an item from the marketplace, reviews the listing and completes the purchase through REVEND.
REVEND manages the transaction instead of requiring the buyer to arrange payment and delivery privately with the seller.
If the item received is materially different from what was advertised, the buyer can open a dispute and provide evidence. This is not a general change-of-mind returns policy.
For sellers
The seller lists the product, chooses the selling price and describes the product honestly.
Once a legitimate purchase is made, the seller prepares the correct item and follows the managed delivery process.
A buyer cannot simply complete a legitimate purchase, change their mind and use the REVEND dispute system as a free return service. Genuine sellers are protected from ordinary buyer remorse.
Payment stays inside the transaction
REVEND's model is built around a managed payment process.
The buyer pays through the platform and REVEND records the payment and transaction status.
Seller payout is linked to successful transaction completion and may be delayed while a valid dispute is being investigated.
Delivery stays inside the transaction
REVEND is designed around managed delivery rather than requiring buyers and sellers to meet strangers or arrange informal collection themselves.
Where an approved courier service is available, REVEND uses parcel information, seller collection information and buyer delivery details to coordinate the shipment.
Delivery charges are calculated separately from the seller's item price and REVEND transaction fee.
What happens if there is a problem?
If the product is materially not as advertised, the buyer can use the REVEND dispute process.
REVEND may review the original listing, photographs, condition, disclosed defects, courier records and evidence supplied by the buyer and seller.
Seller payout may be held while the dispute is being reviewed.
READ BUYER PROTECTIONWhat can be sold?
REVEND is designed to support a broad marketplace.
If an item is legal, accurately described, permitted by the relevant payment providers and can be transported through an available REVEND delivery service, it will generally be eligible.
